18. Iguazu River, Brazil and Argentina

The splendid Iguazu Falls juxtaposed between Argentina and Brazil spans two miles, covering emerald cliffs along with several other spectacular natural resources. There are 275 standalone waterfalls, which make for a remarkably picturesque sight.
Former first Lady Elenor Roosevelt is said to have gasped, “poor Niagara!” after witnessing the Iguazu River Waterfalls. Iguazu literally means big water in local Guarani lingo, and true to its name, the water flow is massive here. Around 1,500 cubic meter water plunges per second. Sometimes, it reaches epic proportions of 13,000 cubic meters a second especially during the rainy season from November to February.
